Status of exchanges
- In April 2004, Dalseong-gun and Nanhu District signed a Letter of Intent for Mutual Friendly Exchanges and Economic Cooperation.
- Every year, the two sides engage in mutual friendly exchanges/visits for Dalseong-gun’s Bisuelsan Azalea Cultural Festival (April) and Nanhu District’s Spring of Nanhu Festival (May).

- In October 2002, Dalseong-gun and Langfang City signed a Letter of Intent for Mutual Friendly Exchanges and Economic Cooperation
- In April and May of 2003, a delegation of three officials, including the Deputy Mayorof Dalseong-gun, paid a visit to Langfang City.

- Langfang is rich in natural resources, including petroleum. Its roughly 2 trillion cubic meters of natural gas reserves and geothermal energy (30-90℃) resources contribute greatly to the city’s development.
- Its road network density is higher than the average of Chinese cities. Beijing-Qinhuangda Highway, Beijing-Shanghai Highway, Beijing-Jujiang Highway, and Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan Highway all run through Langfang.
- It takes half an hour to drive from Langfang to Beijing or Tianjin. Beijing-Shenyang Highway runs through the north of Langfang, with eleven other roads running through city as well.
